Applicants must be of 18 years or older and able to provide proof of US citizenship. By participating in the Contest, where allowed by law, participants agree that the Company may disclose personal information obtained from participants in the Contest to third parties and use such information for marketing and other purposes.
I moved overseas, where i got an MA, and then ended up landing two one-year fellowships in my field. Wasn’t too happy with the fact that the fellowships were one year, but they were a good start…. or so I thought. So, the first one ended up being in an area where I had more experience than my bosses and leadership. The second was in a non-profit organization with someone without any background in nonprofit management, but I was hoping to really raise their level. However, when I complained that the manager was violating the law, she ended the fellowship early. Since then, and this was over a year ago, I’ve been unable to find a job. I retrained to be a technical writer, an area that was an advantage in this high tech economy but the bubble burst. I did a freelance project and never got paid and another 1 month project at a company that officially had a hiring freeze at minimum wage.
Now I’m stuck and not sure what to do and whether to return to America – but without my wife, who doesn’t want to return to America.
