Some companies are on a hiring freeze for certain departments. What the position entails: This position is more than an editor, and more than a writer, but definitely combines the two within. There will likely be a team of writers or editors of sorts underneath you, for which you will have to coordinate and streamline productivity.

Blogger

What the position entails: Web Designers create the look and feel of the website itself. Aesthetics are an important part to a website’s success. User interface designers must ensure that the website is easily navigable and is, overall, an attractive and usable entity.

Social Media Marketing Manager
What the position entails: As a social media marketer, it will be your job to write out, enable, and enact a plan for the promotion of your company via the various social media/web 2.0 outlets.
