Being unemployed can seem downright hopeless at times, but it isn’t the end of the world. Donald Trump, Larry King, and even Jerry Seinfeld have all been unemployed, but they all managed to go on to new things, land new jobs, and achieve success. In 2008, unemployment rates for IT managers and other professionals sat at only 2.5%. But in 2009, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, this number jumped to a staggering 5.2%. This is the highest the industry’s seen since 2003.
